PRE-SHOOT CHECKLIST

A well-prepared property leads to higher quality photos and videos, faster shoot times, better marketing materials, and quicker sales.

PRE-SHOOT CHECKLIST

Quick note:

Turn on ALL lights
Replace burnt-out bulbs
Turn ON ceiling fan lights (keep fans OFF)
Open curtains, lower blinds but keep horizontal slats open
Turn all TVs and computer screens OFF
Clean glass surfaces (doors/ windows/ mirrors) - remove streaks/fingerprints

LIGHTING:

Arrange clean towels
Hide trash cans and cleaning tools
Remove floor mats
Close toilet seats
Add fresh toilet paper
Close shower curtain/door
Remove all personal items:

BATHROOM:

Hygiene products
Medications
Toothbrushes
Shower items

Remove cars from driveway and front of home (park in garage or down street)
Hide garbage cans, hoses, and gardening tools
Mow lawn and remove debris (twigs, branches, weeds)
Remove toys or sports equipment
Uncover clean pools/hot tubs (we'll turn on lights and jets)
Clean and arrange outdoor furniture
Open patio umbrellas
Tidy chairs
Plump cushions
Remove grill cover and hide utensils
Sweep sidewalks, driveway, patio, decks, and pool area
Remove flags, hanging ornaments, and security signs

Exterior:

Vacuum/sweep/mop floors
Tidy couches and fluff pillows
Remove clutter from tables/desks
Dust screens
Sweep wooden floors

Living Room/ Family Room:

Make all beds
Add decorative pillows if available
Remove ALL clutter from surfaces: End tables, Dressers, Nightstands
Store away: Electronics, Charging cords, Personal photos, Books, Tissues
Check under beds for visible items
Ensure walk-in closets are tidy

Kitchen/Dining Room:

Our photographers will do their best to address uncompleted items, but our primary role is photography, not cleaning. We will not handle personal hygiene items. A minimum fee of $10 applies to each image requiring Photoshop removal of items.
